Starting a new project

I started on a Halloween project for my daughter.  It's a dress.  My first dress.  Wish me luck!

It's this dress.  Well. This is the starting point for my dress.

If you look, it sends you to this other dress called the Emma dress for the pattern pieces.  It's a bit confusing and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.  So far I've cut out the pieces, but haven't gotten to the sewing yet.

There are three parts to the Emma dress.
